Normas del parque
Park use rules published by the Parks and Recreation Department can be found here. Violations of these rules can be reported through the 311 app and to Pease Park Conservancy at info@peasepark.org. Please take note of the highlighted rules detailed here.
Splash Pad
Please supervise your children while they are playing in the water.
Do not change diapers or open food within six feet of the water feature.
Please do not allow your dogs to enter the water feature.
If you or your children are feeling ill, do not play in the splash pad.

The chemicals are balanced for the water each morning to make sure the water is clean and safe for play. Please help us ensure that it stays clean all day.
Glass
Glass is prohibited on park grounds at all times.
Hammocking & Slacklining
Protect trees by anchoring straps correctly. Since hammocks and slack lines can only be anchored to trees, remember to use those that have trunk diameters greater than one foot. Use a piece of fabric, like burlap, to sandwich between the straps and the trunk to protect the tree’s bark.
Music
When playing music, consider volume and language. Pease Park is a multigenerational gathering place and we discourage visitors from playing music with profanity or playing music too loudly.
Plant Beds
Tossing food scraps into plant beds is harmful. It is littering to throw an orange or banana peel into an outdoor space because it is not a part of the surrounding ecosystem. Compostable items should be disposed of in the trash recepticles.
Reservas
Preference for facility use is given to reservations. If a picnic table has not been reserved through Pease Park Conservancy, it is available on a first-come, first-serve basis. If it has been reserved, the patron who reserved it must be provided with access to that table during their allotted reservation. The Tudor Cottage and Terrace must be reserved prior to use.
Streamers, Confetti, Silly String
These items are prohibited. These produce waste that is nearly impossible to clean from the park and they are harmful to the environment.
Trash Disposal
Dispose of waste properly in designated bins. Recycling and landfill bins are available throughout the park. If you have more trash than will fit in these bins, you may take your waste to the dumpsters at the end of the parking lot at the corner of Parkway and Kingsbury. Do not use the dumpster at the residence complex across the street from the park.
Wildlife
Observe, don’t disturb. Under the City of Austin Parks and Recreation Department, all wildlife that inhabit a park are protected.
Dogs
Dogs should be on-leash in Pease Park except for the off-leash area between 24th Street and 29th Street.
Owners must pick up after their pet.
Owners are responsible for their dog’s behavior and for the safety of themselves and their dog. Dogs who display aggressive behavior will be asked to leave.
All dogs brought to the park should be current on all vaccinations, be spayed or neutered, and flea and tick free.
STAKING
There can be no staking in the park. This includes signage, sports equipment, and tents.
Inflatables & amusement amenities
Use of inflatable bounce houses, moonwalks, climbing walls, dunking booths, and mechanical rides are prohibited. Petting zoos and other amusement amenities must be disclosed to info@peasepark.org and require approval. Vendors, amusement contractors, or subcontractors are required to maintain insurance (and must provide required certificates of insurance prior to entering Pease Park) and must adhere to all State and local inspection requirements.

If you find a trail or maintenance issue in the park that needs attention, please report the issue using the 311 app and choose the service “Park Grounds Maintenance.” You can also email Pease Park Conservancy at info@peasepark.org.

Scooters abandonados
